The Zaksha agent runs as a system service on school-managed PCs. Students work from standard accounts — without admin rights, the agent can't be stopped, removed or reconfigured.
School devices are set up with Zaksha as the device owner: the phone installs it during setup and locks filtering on. It can't be uninstalled or switched off from the device — a factory reset just re-enrols it.
A Screen Time passcode only staff hold keeps filtering on and the app in place, on any network. For iPad fleets that need it locked on with no way out, supervised MDM is tamper-proof — enforcement can't be removed at all.
