The app goes on your child's phone and keeps filtering on wherever they are. You manage everything from your dashboard.
Tap the download notification, or find zaksha-agent.apk in the Files app.
The phone asks once for permission to install apps from this browser — tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, and go back.
Zaksha isn't distributed through the Play Store yet, so Google shows a caution for any app installed outside it. Tap More details → Install anyway. The app is signed by Zaksha — you can verify the file's checksum on our release page below.
The app asks for a pairing code — it's showing in your Zaksha dashboard on the Add device screen.
Skip the download above — the phone installs Zaksha itself and locks filtering on, so it can't be turned off or uninstalled from the phone. Here's the whole flow:
On app.zaksha.com: Add device → Android → New or reset → Tamper-proof. A setup QR appears on your screen.
On the child's phone: Settings → System → Reset options → Erase all data (factory reset). Back up photos and chats first — everything on the phone is removed and there's no undo.
When the phone restarts to the "Hi there" welcome screen, tap anywhere on it six times — a QR scanner opens.
Connect to Wi-Fi if the phone asks, then point the camera at the QR on your dashboard. The phone downloads Zaksha and sets it up on its own.
Sign in, restore what you need — Zaksha is already protecting the phone and shows as connected in your dashboard.
Get Apple's TestFlight app from the App Store on your child's iPhone.
Tap the button above (or scan the QR from your dashboard) and accept the Zaksha invite in TestFlight.
Install from TestFlight, open the app, and enter the pairing code from your dashboard's Add device screen.
